Terms & Conditions

Bookings

  • Guest must pay 100% to confirm their bookings in advance of staying.
  • Guests must attain full insurance which covers weather delays before booking a stay at Tu Guesthouse.
  • No parties.
  • No visitors unless permission is given from owners.
  • No Shoes inside the house.
  • Valuable items can be stored in the Safe Box within your room.
  • If at all possible, noise levels should be kept to a minimum as a courtesy to other guests.
  • Breakfast must be ordered the night before so that we can cook to requirements, and reduce unnecessary wastage.

Cancellations

  • A deposit of 100% of the total cost is required when booking.
  • If you need to cancel your booking, you must do so at least 4 weeks prior to your stay, where the full deposit will be refunded minus the transaction fee. If cancelling less than 4 weeks prior to your stay, there will be no refund.
  • Should we need to cancel your booking, we will inform you as soon as possible and issue a full refund of the deposit.
  • Any nights cancelled due to delays on international flights, will be charged at full rate.

Liability

  • We will not be held liable for any damage or injury that occurs throughout the property of Tu Guesthouse, unless it is due to an act of neglect by ourselves or our employees.
  • We will not be held liable for any visitor not being able to attend their stay due to weather delays. This must be covered by their insurance as mentioned above.

Keys

  • All guests are given a key for their room plus an outside door key. The doors must be kept locked at all times. Any keys lost, guests will be charged £50 per replacement key.

Lost Property

  • Items found will be collected and kept safe in the main house for a period of up to one month from departure/check-out of the last day of booking.
  • Items can be collected from us once identification of ownership has been confirmed.
  • Items requested to be posted will be charged for the service.

Damage

  • We reserve the right to seek compensation for any damage or breakages that occur due to neglect or malicious behaviour.
  • Any and all damages or breakages must be reported.

Missing Items

  • Anything missing from the property will be charged for.

Smoking

  • Tu Guesthouse is strictly non-smoking.
  • Smoking is permitted outside of the property and not to occur within doorways or out of open windows.
  • Please extinguish all cigarette ends correctly.

Pets

  • Pets are not permitted on the property.
